About Bea Policarpio:
Bea Policarpio is a Filipina artist specializing in abstract and impasto painting. Her artworks are spontaneous and expressive in her use of vivid colors and wild textures. Subjects of her paintings have ranged from pure abstractions to ocean waves, interstellar scenes, and mixed media child’s play. She likes to spill colors where words fail.
She’s exhibited her work at events such as Art For Everyone, Tagayatay Art Beat, South Arts Festival, and more. In 2018, she completed an artist residency program with Ugnayan sa Poblacion. In 2019, she organized two group exhibits: Junk of Hearts at Stockpile Ortigas and Awakening at One of T Design Store’s Salt & Paper Art Gallery.
