About the artwork:
This is a collection of photos taken during Rachel's daily commute. She lived in this area for a year so it has a special place in her heart. Despite its name, the buildings of Newtown look old and historic. It felt like a dream whenever she walked around this neighborhood because of its thriving music, theater, design and restaurant scene.

About Rachel Halili:
Rachel Halili is a collage artist and graphic designer. Her creative process begins when she packs her bags and steps outside her room. She is inspired by the wild open spaces where fresh air and sunshine are abundant. She comes home with a memory card of photos, a set of postcards, and new ideas from the people she's met along the way - translating their stories and her adventures into visual collages. Each collage consists of multiple images arranged in a way as to create a fictional travel destination.
Rachel is also the co-founder of the well-known travel brand and community called Where To Next. She is the designer of The Starting Point Journal and Where To Next Planner.
