About the artwork:
That moment when one small thought decided to breed and multiply in your brain. Maybe it’s about failure, regret or contempt, whatever unwanted thing it may be, it eats at you and seeps so far in you find yourself begging for reprieve. Hoping for the best, experiencing the worst.

About Drixkie Palumar:
Laguna-based artist: Slightly awkward, mostly eager to learn. Mom on significant occasions, responder at night and always a dreamer. Drixkie hopes to bring the viewers’ attention to the topic of vulnerability and emotionality.
With the female figure as muse, watercolor represents emotions: there’s a necessity for control and yet there’s a demand for release. In this way, she hopes to help the viewer look inward and find peace in being human.
