About the artwork:
This is a limited edition print of one of the main pieces of Kara's second solo exhibit in 2018, entitled Wilder. The original piece was rendered in acrylic and ink on a 30" x 40" stretched canvas, and took over 30 hours to complete.
This piece, along with "Breathe", is a representation of the artist's growth. Each stroke was a step towards healing, which made the original paintings too personal and too difficult to sell. However, when it was purchased by Kara's sister, Gab, it was such a meaningful thing. She now holds the original painting. Only these limited edition prints are commercially available.
